One BIG thing that happened as we were heading back from our long trip around the country in 2024-2025, is that we started having serious conversations about traveling and living in an RV. First, we decided this really is something we want to keep doing for the next several years. Second, we decided we wanted more space to organize our "stuff". We wanted a rig with better storage options so we didn't have to unpack so much to get to the item that we needed. 

We started looking at floor plans and finally decided on the Grand Design 376RD. It has much more underneath storage than our 310GK, as well as having three distinct "living" spaces in the RV and a much bigger bathroom. Ken took up the search in earnest, and found one in Moses Lake, WA that ticked all our boxes, as well as having some upgrades that are great but were not requirements for us, such as full body paint, independent suspension (we would have added this on our own), and double-pane windows.
